We are so thankful to Mike and Goldie from Mike's Dog House. We adopted a pit-bull that was slated for death
at a nearby shelter. We already owned a rescued mastiff/mix and wanted to get a companion for him. As it turned out the two dogs did not get along. More to the fault of our mastiff than to the pit-bull. We had to re-home one of them and couldn't part with the mastiff we already had for 4 years.
We couldn't find any rescue organizations that would take Mugsy...until Mike's Dog House. We were so happy when Mike said he would take Mugsy because
we knew Mike would keep him until a suitable home could be found.
We put Mugsy on a red-eye flight to Florida. Mike only had Mugsy for a few weeks when he was adopted by a really nice couple. They live in a huge house and work from home with Mugsy at their feet. They walk him on the beach daily and take great care of him.
I've had the privilege of speaking with them on the phone several times over the past year. I can't thank them enough
for opening their home to this great dog and giving him the second chance he deserves.
The same thank you goes to Mike and Goldie for their selfless dedication to the dogs lucky enough to pass through their organization. I know the only
reason Mike would ever say no to a dog in need is financial. I hope anyone reading this will find it in their hearts to give what they can
to Mike's Dog House so he can better help dogs in need.
