Mike's Dog House evaluates all dogs coming in to make sure they are adoptable. The following characteristics are not acceptable:
1. Severe shyness towards humans.
2. Defensiveness towards humans.
3. Strong dominance towards humans.
4. Extreme dog aggression.
5. Inappropriate prey drive that cannot be controlled by leash or verbal command.
6. Refuses to be contained and shows extremely high energy. (hyperness)
Remember, all of our rescues are pets and are not to be used as guard or yard dogs. We want only the very best situation for our bullys and their adopters.
