Our Mission

Mike's Dog House is a FL Non Profit Corporation with a 501(c)3 tax exempt status. The past and present activities of Mikes Dog House, Inc have been simply the rescue of good, adoptable dogs from death row and abusive situations and posting them on the web so that people who are looking to adopt, can see them.

More than a rescue!!
In order for rescue to be affective, rescuers need to be educated. A dog may be sweet but that alone does not make it adoptable. We strive to educate the world of rescue about what deems a dog adoptable and what behaviors are red flags. Millions of donated dollars are wasted each year on the pulling, transport, and medical
needs of animals that are unadoptable. We strive to create accountability on the part of 501(c)3 charities.
